When I look back, I see sparkles, shining gold.
Not money, not posh and luxury.
Instead, the "been there"s and "done that"s,
A happy heart, an abundance around me,
Inspired and inspiring others,
Know my limits,
And know that I have none,
An individual, a different scent,
All my fears in His hands,
Coming out alive.
God, grant me the serenity,
To accept the things that I cannot change,
The courage,
To change the things I can,
The wisdom,
To know the difference,
And the strength,
To find a way out of the maze.
