How to Wear a Leather Pencil Skirt Casually

Helloo peeps! I'm doing a 30-day vlog challenge whch i'll be vlogging for 30 days. Whee. LOL

So I talked about how to wear a leather pencil skirt casually on my first vlog here.

I had to wear black a-line skirts to school because I'm officially a prefect now #nerd so my auntie gave me a big bag of black skirts and she also gave me a leather pencil skirt but of course I can't wear it to school #duh and I didn't know how or when I'm going to wear it so I thought why not create casual styles so I can wear it anytime I want. #longsentenceftw

PhotoBlog: Beach Day

So to end my two-week-long holiday and in conjunction with Father's Day, me and my family went to Sematan town and spent a night there at the resort.

Although the accommodation is quite run down, but it's still bearable and it's been long since we as a whole complete family spent a day at the beach.

NeonStory: #1 The Hallyu Wave and Me

Taking vain selfies with thick makeup on was a huge trend back then. Since the Hallyu wave rocked the world like a huge earthquake, girls now craze over Korean fashion a.k.a Kfashion or Kstyle. Nowadays, girls live up to the saying "less is more." Girls back then crazed over thick eye makeup which is popular in Japan and now they're practically taking of their masks and go for a more natural look which is popular in Korea. My brother and I were talking about the Hallyu wave and he asked something which I think we all have no answer to: When did the Hallyu wave start? It was so so sudden and it's not backing down, no, it's getting stronger and hotter cuzz Koreans don't back down. *inserts gangsta sign*

So i'm going to talk about how I got sucked into this Hallyu blackhole.

I believe that everyone started off with the influences of Kpop such as Super Junior, which was the IT group back then; Girls Generation, Big Bang, 2NEI, 4 Minute and more.

When I was in pri 6, a friend of mine was really into SS501 particularly Kim Hyun Joong from Boys Over Flowers. She was so madly in love with them and somehow, (I really don't know how but) I too fell into the deep pits of kpop. But I wasn't crazy over SS501, I was crazy over Super Junior. That was when Han Geng was still there. I really liked them especially SJM because I was able to understand what they were singing because one of the main reasons I don't really listen to kpop (even now) is that I don't know what their singing. I'm the type of person who puts lyrics in front of music itself, although the music is really important too. 

After a while I just got sick of them. *shy* *shy* (not to say sick but my enthusiasm just fell out of love with them) 

I went back listening to Europe artists and when I was in sec 1, I was introduced to Kpop again by a relative of mine and to be frank, she was a fan of Kpop a long time ago even though she's way older than me. *salutes* So she introduced me to Beast since she's a big fan back then and she introduced me to their Fact and Fiction album. 

I didn't like it. I thought it was just meaningless music because again, I didn't know what they were singing because I wasn't able to understand. So my love for kpop just faded away like this. I listened to Mandopop instead. FYI, my Mandopop was worst than my Kpop. And because the people around me kept talking about celebs that I don't know about so I started listening to Mandopop by tuning in to the radio every day just to check out new hits and now my Mandopop is so much better than my Kpop. :P

Until...Fantastic Baby came out! It was as powerful as the Hallyu wave itself. At first I didn't like it, then my friends kept going "WOW...Fantastic Baby..Dance!" and tbh I was like "WOW...stfu" at first and I went to check out the M/V. Everyone was like wow TOP, wow Taeyang, OMG Daesung, wait...why is GD's hair like this? It's so weird. 

All my friends didn't like GD's style in Fantastic Baby and I was the only one who loved it. I was literally attracted to him (well not literally, well maybe) I was like "This guy's got swag. He's different." I was just attracted to him at first sight (well not first sight but hmm first M/V?) I still didn't know who Big Bang was and certainly didn't know about GD too so I did what everyone would do: GOOGLE. 

He's just so talented and he knows what he's doing. He's got his own style and who doesn't love guys with their own swag right? :P

I fell in love with him (eww I sound creepy now) since then, 2 years and counting! #fangirl

Then I started watching variety shows like Running Man to Muhan Dojeon to Family Outing (it gets older hahaha) and through those shows I got to know a lot of celebs and i'll name a few that I really like.

1. Yonghwa (CN BLUE) *inserts heart eyes emoji*

2. Kwanghee (ZE:A) - Dang! Every variety show should make him a permanent cast member. His puns are priceless. It's a talent!

3. Daesung (Big Bang) - Same as Kwanghee. Daebak!

4. Park Myung Soo and the Muhan Dojeon (Infinite Challenge) gang! - I just love watching them!

As for fashion and style, I think it's because Kfashion is the IT fashion right now and no one wants to be out of style right? So we all are naturally attracted to Korean fashion.

Homemade Lemon and Honey Facial Cleanser

Hey there!

I changed my blog url and my blog name to Heyy! Neon.

I actually wanted Hello! Neon but it was taken. Dang!

Hmm I wanted a catchy name cos whenever I look up something on google and when sites with people's names comes up eg: celinetiang.blogspot.com I get a little, just a little ;) fan gan (titsy bitsy distaste) No offense to anyone, I swear.

So I was wondering will people feel the same way and what if they do so I changed it.

So the story behind Heyy! Neon is I really like neon colors. Mint green/Tiffany Blue is the only exception :P
I really like neon colors and whenever I see something in a neon color (especially yellow and green) I'd go crazy and my friends would laugh at me lolll. The Heyy! was strung into the name because it's fun and friendly with an exclamation mark!

My header banner doesn't have a neon colour in it. Well it actually does, it's neon red. But I don't think it's that neon ehh. But if I were to put a neon yellow in it then it would be too glaring. So I toned it down :)

Bride of the Century

What's this all about? 

Taeyang Group (Taeyang from Big Bang came into your mind right? Hah!) is the largest conglomerate(chaebol) in South Korea. The Choi family who runs Taeyang has supposedly been under a curse for a hundred years that the first bride of the eldest son will always die. When the wealthy heiress Jang Yi-kyung (Yang Jin Sung) disappears right before her wedding to chaebol heir Choi Kang-joo (Lee Hong Ki), Na Doo-rim (Yang Jin Sung), a lookalike impostor, is brought in to take her place. But unlike the cold and calculating Yi-kyung, Doo-rim is sweet and sunny, and Kang-joo falls genuinely in love with her. As the wedding plans progress, Kang-joo and Yi-kyung's mothers both scheme and plot behind the scenes. (Taken from wiki)

If any of you guys ever watch 金大花的华丽冒险 (King Flower/Substitute Princess), you'll see that the story is quite the same except that King Flower's Jin Da Hua goes through plastic surgery to look like Terry's wife. But in Bride of the Century, Na Doo Rim and Jang Yi Kyung looks exactly the same since they were born. (Mind blowned? Yes you are.) 

But before you think that this is too kua zhang (over (?) ) although korean dramas all kua zhang one laaa, Bride of the Century is a paranormal/fantasy story. Meaning that there's a ghost (kinda like the ghost, she got swagggg). And anything is possible in movies like this right? So the ghost made them look alike when they were born. *sigh*

Le ghost. You might wanna watch out. She doesn't always appear like this.

So Jang Yi Kyung's mom wants her daughter to marry in to the Choi family because it'll benefit her company which is going to hit rock bottom soon and she eventually brainwashes her daughter into marrying into the Choi family although there is no love between Kang Joo and her. The ghost then haunts Yi Kyung and tells her that she'll die if she marries Kang Joo. As a result of that, Yi Kyung runs away and disappears. Meanwhile, Yi Kyung's half brother Yi Hyun meets Na Doo Rim when Doo Rim is delivering food to the construction site which is owned by Yi Kyung's mom. Her company I mean. Doo Rim saves Yi Hyun from getting hit by a falling brick. Yi Hyun then scouts Doo Rim to pretend as Yi Kyung, because they look alike, in order to save their company. Because of their two completely opposite personalities, Kang Joo eventually falls for Na Doo Rim not knowing that she is Doo Rim and not Yi Kyung.

So we all thought that Yi Kyung disappeared but actually she and her evil mom is planning on getting Kang Joo to marry Doo Rim as a sacrifice because of the family curse so that her daughter will finally marry Kang Joo safely. But on the other hand, Kang Joo's mom wants Yi Kyung(she doesn't know that it's Doo Rim) to marry Kang Joo, again, as a sacrifice because of the family's curse. But then Yi Kyung comes back to help Doo Rim (not help but to prevent Doo Rim from being discovered) and Doo Rim ends her contract as Yi Kyung because Yi Kyung is back already. Yi Kyung's mom gives her a shop in Seoul because she doesn't want Doo Rim to come back cos she knows she's in love with Kang Joo already. Then Kang Joo continues treat Yi Kyung as if she is Doo Rim and Yi Kyung is like "Jackpot!". I hate this part! I hate that Kang Joo still doesn't know that's not the girl he's in love with. Finally Kang Joo feels weird and discovers that she's not Doo Rim. So they go through the (why?! how?! where is she?! process) and when he finally finds Doo Rim, she lies to Kang Joo that she accepts the offer because of money because she doesn't want to hurt him more knowing she can't be with him cos there's two evil moms plotting at the back and Kang Joo feels cheated.

But no matter what, he still can't forget her. Yoo Se Mi (friend of Kang Joo, likes Kang Joo, gave up on Kang Joo, became friends with Doo Rim) and Yi Hyun tells Kang Joo that Doo Rim actually loves Kang Joo and she doesn't want Kang Joo to get hurt.

Then they go through fking complicated events like plots from the two evil moms and media and all that shiatz (sorry for cuss words, i'm so frustrated with this part). They eventually get through all that and the curse is not real, it's just a mistake Kang Joo's grandmother made. Doo Rim and Kang Joo finally can be together. Butttt...everyone is still unhappy and Doo Rim feels like she cant build her happiness on other people's unhappiness so she leaves Seoul without telling Kang Joo. So sad la this part. So after two years, Kang Joo finally finds Doo Rim (yay! love this part. Priceless). Doo Rim has a son which I don't know where he came from. -.- Thennnnnnnn happy ever after.

Thoughts of mine

So hard to write a full plot. *pants* *pants*

Go watch it cos aiya, what I write is not complete maa, I just shorten it. 

So first, Hong Ki is just. so. damn. shuai. Hahahahaha #fangirl He acts cute and bubbly in You're beautiful but he's completely opposite in Bride of the Century. He acted really well too!

Nahh 养眼

I think that Yang Jin Sung acted really well too because she managed to nail two different personalities. So perf la! Ps: Hong Ki chose her over Park Shin Hye as his ideal girl. Hah! In your face! Loll

What I don't like is it took too long for Kang Joo to finally find out that it's Na Doo Rim. It took 4 episodes I think. So frustrating ehh those 4(or 3) episodes. 

I didn't mention the ghost up there just now cos there's nothing to say really. She got swagg is all I have to say hahaha.

Hmm other than all that, there's nothing much to say dyy cos all korean dramas are the same. wtf -.-

Azrael's Stop (Book Review)

I don't read much. Well no, I read. I read horror stories. True horror stories, not those Goosebumps series.

Azrael's Stop isn't a horror story. It's an E-Book btw. I just chanced upon it on Wattpad. I needed some inspirations.

If you don't know what Wattpad is, its a mobile app for people who like to read and write. There are a lot of good books there and I really love this one - Azrael's Stop.

The author is a genius. Short words, deep meanings. Azrael's Stop is a story about life, death, friendship and love. Really meaningful story. Priceless.

My own synopsis 

It's about a bartender named Ceph. All he knew was death. His family, friends, people who he gets close with, dies. He works at Azrael's Stop, a bar for people who are seeking death, or to say, finding peace. Ceph listens to their stories. 

There's this crow who watches over everything. It caws whenever someone dies. 

Rye who is Ceph's friend, died when they were still young. Rye still sticks around at the bar, but Ceph seems to be moving on. It hurts him when Ceph meets Trin, a girl who understands Ceph. A girl who knows what he is thinking. Rye feels happy for Ceph that he finally met someone who he is able to pour everything out to. Even then, it still hurts because it seems that Ceph didn't need him anymore.

In the end, everyone has their own stories. They have their own reasons for leaving or to be afraid of falling in love again.

Thoughts of mine

It makes you feel sad yet you won't cry. It helps you to see life in a different way. Dang, the author is really a genius.

It's the TFIOS if you know what I mean. People are so obsessed with TFIOS. Well I think this is much better.
