Bittersweet 16

16th Birthday. Sweet 16 they say. Well it's bittersweet for me. I went for camp during my birthday. There's good times, bad times, times we cried and times we laughed. It was a great experience for me. I'll always remember that night when everybody circled the campfire singing birthday songs for me. A big thanks from the bottom of my heart. I really appreciate it. I also woke up the next morning to find a birthday card containing many cute birthday wishes from my friends. :') Thanks guys.

Celebrated birthday earlier because I can't celebrate it with my family during camp.

Chocolate Fresh Cream
Hit the jackpot again. Amazing cake.

Well, birthdays are just a day only. What matters most is what you do in that year. How much you will grow. Which paths will you take.
Right?

That's the end of my 2014's birthday.
Ikr.
Tho, i'm thankful anyway.

Deep music.

All your acting
Your thin disguise
All your perfectly delivered lies
They don't fool me
You've been lonely, too long

Let me in the wall, you've built around
And we can light a match and burn it down
Let me hold your hand and dance 'round and 'round the flame
In front of us
Dust to dust

You've held your head up
You've fought the fight
You bear the scars
You've done your time
Listen to me
You've been lonely, too long

Genius. Genius.

Singer? Songwriter?

Songwriter.

Singer-songwriter?

Done, end of story.

I wish I had written that. But no, of course it wasn't me.

Dust to Dust by The Civil Wars.

The Civil Wars is an American musical duo composed of singer-songwriters Joy Williams and John Paul White. After releasing a live-performance album and a four-song EP, their full-length album Barton Hollow was released in 2011
Wiki here.

I love duets/duos whatever you call them. I love hearing contrast of voices.

I love a bit of indie folk in a song. The Civil Wars does it. That's the kind of music that captures the heart. Well at least it captures mine.

I hate people that judges one's taste in music. I have friends that says i'm always listening to weird songs because all they listen to is pop music. Pop music is good, of course, but I love music that stays in the heart not the mind. I listen to alt rock and a little bit of indie folk.

Who doesn't love One Republic and Bastille or Coldplay?

Anyways, remember Safe & Sound by Taylor Swift? She featured The Civil Wars and it was amazing. I held on to that song for like months before getting addicted to something else. Taylor's music changed, I loved her more when she was still country-pop. Now she's gone all pop. But she brought her country self back in Safe & Sound with some folk from The Civil Wars. Perfect.

Thanks, xoxo.

Just starting to crawl.

I think I've changed, in a bad way. I shouldn't be like this. It's all about greed, everything is all about greed. I wanted more, I wanted people to care, to really care and not just care because we're just new friends. I'll fix this. I will.

Irvin said that everyone has a crush at this point of life. I went on denying but then it was true. Everyone has a crush. Crushes are not falling in love btw. It's just a really good feeling towards someone. It's not falling in love. You're just on the edge.

Seeing my friends winning the badminton competition really makes me happy. I don't know why but I just felt so so happy for them. 1. Yaw really gave me the comfort when I lost the game the other day. I really support him too. I guess that's why I'm so happy. 2. I feel like I let Irvin down, man, I lost the game. All he worked hard for, and I just lost it like that. He won doubles with Leo and I guess I'm happy because at least he did win something.

Friends come and go, trust me, it's the most hurtful truth you'll ever hear. So appreciate every second with them because when they go they might never come back.

Debts.

Why must someone pay more than their sins?

Isn't change, regrets, and forgiveness more important?

I believe she changed. I believe she regrets it and I believe they had forgiven her a long time ago.

But why must she face these troubles?

Her weary skin isn't strong enough to handle the weight of this cruel world.

She's breaking apart, inside.

She prays so hard, so hard.

She prays for her sisters.

She prays for hatred to be gone.

She just wants her love ones to be happy.

Life is out of her league now.

So now I pray, I pray so hard.

That she will be fine.

For she loved me and i'll love her back.

With so much hearts and tears, together we'll pray.

Because she tried so hard to pay for her sins.

And we will pay for our sins too.

But she will have so many people beside her loving her.

And I will do my best in everything that makes her happy.

Even though her smile can't hide her wrinkles and her crinkled skin.

She will be loved more and more.

And she will be happy.

Thanks.
Love,
Celine.

Ending of a not-so-long break.

Holidays are over. The world spins too fast. I Dayre-ed my holiday so you can read a more detailed story @ dayre.me/celinetiang

3 days of badminton was tiring and really fun. I've been really moody too these days.

Hang out at CityOne and had dinner at Shabu Shabu on Saturday. Celebrated William's birthday in advance.

Someone just commented on my Stories blog post. To know that there are people reading it motivates me to keep blogging there. I'll come up with something soon. My kick's gone. Finding inspirations every now and then.

Just in case, Stories. My blog for...stories? (ya don't say) Well it's a platform for expressing my experiences in a "non-ranting" way.

A little review on the shabu shabu restaurant I went to.

SaSa 滚 Rolling Shabu-Shabu

No. 37, Ground Floor, Sublot 11998, Block 16, KCLD,
Brighton Square, Jalan Song, 93250,
Kuching, Sarawak.

It works like a sushi place where there's a conveyor belt thingy that type. (Excuse my rojak english). Everyone get's a pot of their own and there's three types of soup : Original, Tom Yam and Hot and Spicy.
I'd recommend tom yam or original but never never choose the hot and spicy one. It has a blunt and bitter taste. Really weird. You can order extra like pork or lamb slices, fried dumplings etc.

Honestly, I really like the place. It's like a korean+jap place. Nice feel, got steamboat mood one. Lol.

I took loads of selfies with friends and its up on my dayre.

Prices are RM 28.80 for adults and RM 13.80 for children. Oh and btw, to all the ladies out there, you can enjoy 25% discount on Tuesday.

(Ps: There's a U Garden at the back of Song Plaza. Ladies night is on Wednesday. So go shabu-shabu on Tuesday and U Garden on Wednesday = shiokness)

If you wanna know more about it click here.

That's it! xoxo
