PhotoBlog: China Trip (Kunming, Dongchuan, Jianshui, Yuanyang)

I've been missing alot on the net lately cos I've gone to China for holiday. As you know China's strict internet censoring got me missing out on alot of news, but fortunately Instagram and Dayre's still working. I wanna say sorry, really, because I promised you guys i'd blog along the way on Dayre and I didn't really keep my promise. First is that I dont wanna post much there cos if I did it'd be no surprise already when I blog it again here. Then Dayre doesn't work well there, it keeps loading and loading while my internet connection is perfectly fine with other apps. I didn't update my Dayre for a few days already cos I've been dead tired lately and busy too. You'd probably think im really using excuses but you wanna believe it or not its up to you. So enough of the talking, lets start.

It was my first time visiting a cold climate country so I didnt really know how cold it'd be then I brought too little clothes. arghh. It was kinda freezing to me. I was like shaking on the first day so the next other days I wore multiple layers of clothes underneath to keep warm. :D

Arrived at Kunming city, checked in the hotel and went for dinner.

After you add all the ingredients above. This is the popular rice noodles, the tour guide said that everyday they must eat at least once leiii. O.O Not bad the taste, we ate this everyday of our trip. No more, no more :O

DONGCHUAN

3.5 hours ride to Dongchuan, our first stop. Dongchuan is famous for its red soil.

The area around Huagou in the Wumeng mountains, has become famous through photographers who discovered the unique local landscape and its Red Earth scenery in the 1990s.

Moving on to Jianshui which is 8 hours from Dongchuan. Oh my...

JIANSHUI

Its an old city, love the retro feel around it. *ps they got wallmart eh, in an old chinese building style. So nice!*

Jianshui County (Chinese建水县pinyinJiànshuǐ XiànHaniJeifsyu) is a city in Hongheprefecture, Yunnan provinceChina. It was historic center of the province and remains an important transportation crossroad.

Jianshui's famous tofu! Got the creamy creamy texture inside. Shiok!

Yan Zi Dong. Bird's Nest Cave. Dark inside so couldn't take pics :(

Moving on to Yuanyang which is 3 hours from Jianshui.

YUANYANG

Yuanyang County (simplified Chinese元阳县traditional Chinese元陽縣pinyinYuányáng XiànHaniYeiqyaq) is located in Honghe PrefectureYunnan province, China, along theRed River. It is well-known for its spectacular rice-paddy terracing.[1][2] Part of the area now forms the 45th World Heritage Site in China.

We had to walk to the hotel everyday because no car can go in there pfft. Woke up two mornings at 6am and couldn't see anything because the fog is too thick so we wasted two days at Yuanyang. Except that day when we reached there and headed to the attraction spots first before checking in to the hotel.

After Yuanyang, we headed back to Kunming city and went shopping! So many nice clothes and shoes but they're all for winter season. Too bad :(. Bought four books for MYR 60. Worth it? Didnt write much about this trip as you can see cos its a PhotoBlog. I don't know how to write about the places too hahaha

So that's it. Kunming trip done! Any comments and questions feel free to drop it down below. Tata :)
